Spheric Privacy Policy

What Spheric is

Spheric is a private video-messaging platform that connects coaches with the members of their communities. Your account, messages, and recordings exist to deliver that service. We never use the contents of private messages or recordings for analytics or advertising.

What we collect

• Account data: your email address, display name, and the communities you belong to.
• Content you create: video, voice, text, and photo messages you record, attach, and send, including optional captions generated from recordings.
• Usage signals: watch receipts (whether you viewed a message) shown to your coach, and device push-notification tokens if you enable notifications.
• Optional analytics and marketing events: basic events such as visiting a public page, requesting information, or completing a purchase, but only after the choice described below. These events never include your messages, recordings, transcripts, questions, replies, or captions.

Who can see your content

Visibility follows your community memberships: broadcasts are visible to the membership tier they were sent to, and direct conversations are visible only to you and your coach. Messages you mark as Personal are additionally excluded from any automated analysis and never appear in notification previews.

Service providers

We use Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Mux (video processing and streaming), Sentry (crash diagnostics when configured), and Expo/Apple/Google infrastructure (push notifications) to operate the service. We also use PostHog for optional product analytics, but only after the applicable consent is granted. These providers process data on our behalf.

Spheric does not currently send personal data to advertising platforms. Before any coach enables optional advertising measurement, we will name each platform — such as Meta, Google Ads, or TikTok — explain whether it is used for measurement or personalized advertising, and ask for your separate marketing consent for that coach, purpose, and platform. We do not sell personal data for money. Advertising disclosures will also explain where applicable law treats advertising data use as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising.

Payments

If you purchase a membership from a coach, payment is processed by Stripe on the coach's own Stripe account. Spheric never sees or stores your card details.

Your choices

• Optional analytics and advertising will remain off unless you affirmatively accept them. Before activation, you will be able to reject all or manage each coach, purpose, and provider separately without losing access to the core service.
• Before any advertising integration is activated, Spheric will provide a way to withdraw a tracking choice at any time, stop new sharing for that choice immediately, and request deletion of eligible local and provider data.
• You can disable push notifications at any time in system settings.
• You can leave a community, and coaches can end memberships; content access follows membership status.
• You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time from the You tab in the app; you can also contact us at the address below.
• You can report any message and block any user from inside the app.
